Sheffield Wednesday have landed West Bromwich Albion defender Steve Watson on loan until the end of the season.
The former Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Everton player heads to Hillsborough after falling out of favour at The Hawthorns.
Owls boss Brian Laws was more than happy to give the 32-year-old a chance to kick-start his career with the South Yorkshire club, and Watson is looking forward to his spell with Wednesday.
"I thought a loan deal would be a great idea for both parties," Watson told the club's official website.
"Obviously, I feel I've got a lot to offer and I need a change.
"I've had a lot of time out of the team recently and I hope a change and getting into the team here will give me a buzz and get me going again."
