Coventry are facing a goalkeeping crisis for their Boxing Day clash with Ipswich.
Coventry manager Micky Adams admitted he has a potential goalkeeping crisis ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Ipswich after Luke Steele was injured in the defeat at Luton.
Steele, who joined the club on an emergency loan on Friday following an injury to Andy Marshall, suffered a nasty gash to his leg at Kenilworth Road.
The injury required stitches, making Steele a doubt for Ipswich's visit to The Ricoh Arena.
"He's a doubt for Boxing Day with a gash on his knee," Adams confirmed.
"Andy Marshall is due to go in for an operation but we might have to cancel that for now."
Adams was pleased with the way his players responded to their 5-0 drubbing at West Brom, yet they still only had an Ahmet Brkovic own goal to show for their attacking endeavours.
"Their keeper got man of the match and rightly so," said Adams. "But that's about as well as we've played away from home this season in the first half and a good response from last week."
