Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is remaining tight-lipped on a move for Brighton's highly-rated defender Joel Lynch.
Lynch has been linked with a move to The Potters along with Championship rivals West Brom, although The Seagulls have played down speculation the South Coast outfit will entertain offers for the youngster.
Pulis believes Brighton's £1 million valuation is unrealistic, but hinted the club might be willing to do business at the right price.
"He is one we are aware of, but I think they want a million pounds," Pulis told The Sentinel.
"We have a list of young players we are constantly monitoring. If there's a deal to be done that's right for this football club, then we'll look to get it done.
"Of course you want what I'd call instant players, those who can come in and make an instant impact, but you've also got to be looking at that younger group.
"In an ideal world, I'd like 18 senior professionals, with six or seven younger ones beneath that senior group that we can loan out at the appropriate time."
