West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has rejected reports that he had a bust-up with defender Curtis Davies.
Reports over the weekend suggested Mowbray and Davies had a spat over the club's disappointing form.
Mowbray has denied the rumours and insists he has not had any confrontation with skipper Davies.
"I haven't had cross words with Curtis since I've been manager at this football club," said Mowbray.
"Curtis works very hard, gets on with his job, enjoys being captain and enjoys training.
"There is nothing that's happened in our dressing room which has surprised or disappointed me.
"But what does irritate you is that things like this gets leaked out into the papers - but I guess that's football and that's how things go."
