Curtis Davies has told Sky Sports News that he is fully committed to West Brom.
The 21-year-old is rated as one of the brightest defensive talents outside of The Premiership and The Baggies had to fight hard to fend off a number of bidders in the summer.
West Brom smoothed Davies' passage to a new deal by handing him the captaincy at The Hawthorns and he is content with his lot in the Black Country.
"I have got a four-year deal at West Brom and I have committed to the club," Davies told Sky Sports News. "They have made me captain and I am happy.
"I just want to get the club back into The Premiership and enjoy life back in The Premiership."
Davies feels manager Tony Mowbray has the tools at his disposal to ensure The Baggies bounce back into the top flight.
"I feel we have got a Premiership squad in The Championship," stated Davies.
"So it is just a matter of getting the players back where they belong and if I can lift a trophy along the way I will be more than happy."
