Robert Earnshaw believes lady luck has started to smile on West Brom.

The Baggies hauled themselves out of the relegation zone on Sunday when Paul Robinson popped up late in the piece to earn the side a draw at Aston Villa.

Wales striker Earnshaw believes Robinson's late goal points to the fact that West Brom now have fortune on their side, as he feels it was them on the receiving end earlier in the campaign.

"To be fair I think we've got better," Earnshaw told Sky Sports News. "I don't think we are a great deal better, the biggest difference is we've got a bit of luck - simple as that.

"We were scoring own goals, conceding stupid goals, making stupid mistakes and that's the biggest difference really.

"There's nothing really that has changed, we've always been doing well in games but conceding silly goals. But lately, as you saw yesterday, we have been scoring late and that would not have happened earlier in the season.

"The luck is with us and hopefully it carries on as we have a few tough games coming up. But if it does stay with us then we will stay up."
