WEST BROM striker Lee Hughes has admitted that he is uncertain over his future with the club.

The 24-year-old is concerned that The Baggies have not offered him an extension to his existing contract and has admitted that if he received an offer from a Premiership club, he would find it difficult to turn down.

"I have one year left on my contract and I haven't been offered a new one," the forward said. "I would have expected them to speak to me about it sooner but I don't know what's going on.

"I'm about the right age now to play in The Premiership and any opportunity I get would be very hard to turn down."

Hughes, who is currently valued at around £5 million, has recently been linked to a variety of Premier League teams including Middlesbrough, Everton and Aston Villa, although it is understood that none of these clubs have pursued their line of enquiry.
