Preston North End have cancelled the contract of defender Craig Morgan by mutual consent.
The termination is made with immediate effect leaving the Wales international free to find a new club at any point, not just prior to the transfer deadline. Morgan was signed by then-North End manager Darren Ferguson from Peterborough in July 2010 and went on to make 58 appearances during his time at Deepdale. He joins Iain Hume in leaving the Lilywhites on deadline day.
