Preston have taken their summer recruitment drive into double figures after agreeing deals for Lee Holmes and Jeffrey Monakana.
Winger Holmes, 25, was released by Southampton after loan spells at Oxford and Swindon in League Two last season.
He will sign a two-year deal on July 1, while former Arsenal teenager Monakana, a midfielder who enjoyed a trial spell with North End at the end of the season, will pen a one-year contract with the option of a second.
Manager Graham Westley said: "It is vital that we have pace, balance, width and good technical quality in our squad next season. Both Lee and Jeffrey bring exciting qualities in those regards.
"I feel sure they will give our fans a lot of excitement this coming season. The squad is continuing to take shape as we aim to make sure we win our opening game, whoever we play and wherever we play."
