Charlton have taken 16 points from the last possible 18 and remain unbeaten in the league in 2012. Tranmere on the other hand are yet to win this year and are slipping closer to the relegation zone.

Sheffield United will look to keep their push for automatic promotion going when they host Preston North End. The Blades have lost just two of their last 12 league games. Preston though are struggling to put together a consistent run of form and a win would be the first time they have recorded back-to-back victories since September.

Having lost three on the spin in all competitions, Sheffield Wednesday will look to get back to winning ways when they make the short trip to relegation threatened Chesterfield. Despite reaching the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, the Spireites have struggled in the league picking up just five wins from 30 games.

The side who cannot win at home, host the side who cannot win away when Walsall play Wycombe in a relegation six-pointer. The Saddlers have won just three games at the Banks's Stadium this season, whilst Wycombe have won twice on the road - the last of which came in October.

Exeter need a win to ease relegation fears when Bury visit St James Park. City shocked high-flying Sheffield Wednesday at home last weekend and will need another performance of that calibre. Three wins from their last 10 games have seen Bury slip to nine points off the play-offs.

Momentum

Having gone nine games without a win, Notts County will look to keep the momentum of back-to-back wins going when they visit Hartlepool who are starting to steady their form after picking up only three wins in as many months between October and December.

Scunthorpe United are another side scrapping for League One survival and they travel to Leyton Orient. The Os are enjoying a period of good form, winning six of their last 10, having spent the first part of the season rooted to the bottom of the table. The Irons are the draw specialists of the division with 13 this season and are teetering two points outside of the drop zone.

With one win in their last six games MK Dons know they need to improve if they are to maintain a play-off spot. They welcome Oldham to stadium:mk who have not managed consecutive wins since October.

Basement side Rochdale face a difficult task when they host a Bournemouth team pushing for a play-off spot. e Dale have taken just one win from their last 10 league games, while the Cherries will want to get back to winning ways after losing at home to Orient on Tuesday.

Colchester could make it three from three if they win at Yeovil. The Glovers though have picked up three wins from their last five to climb out of the relegation zone.

Brentford and Carlisle meet on Monday in front of the Sky Sports cameras. The Bees have won just twice since the start of December and their chances of a play-off spot are quickly fading. Carlisle on the other hand are right in the hunt for one of the four spots, losing just once in the league since the end of November.
