Preston keeper joins team-mate Proctor on treatment table
Preston North End goalkeeper Iain Turner is expected to be out for up to a month after possibly breaking his foot in training on Monday.
The Lilywhites shot-stopper has made 12 appearances this season after joining on a free transfer in the summer.
Preston manager Phil Brown told the club's official website: "We are looking at a broken foot, unfortunately it was a training ground accident on Monday and he is possibly going to be out for a month."
Turner joins Jamie Proctor on the treatment table after the striker underwent a hernia operation on Tuesday.
"I will see Jamie tomorrow and we will find out to what extent of time he needs to recover from the operation," Brown said.
"Jamie is a strong, athletic character who will be desperate to get back out there on the running track and get his fitness back.
"I don't think it will be a matter of months, more like a matter of weeks before we get him back out there."
