Turner keen to bounce back

Preston goalkeeper Iain Turner is ready to repair the damage done by Walsall when Sheffield United visit on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old stopper had been absent from the starting line-up for seven games before returning between the sticks for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at the Banks's Stadium. Turner told the club's official website: "The boys are hurting and we want to put things right against Sheffield United. "It was clear for everybody to see that we didn't play very well and it goes to show if you don't play very well in this league you will get punished. "Whichever team we come up against they will be hard to beat, but the priority is to concentrate on ourselves and what we can do on the pitch. "I will be a very happy man with a clean sheet and a win."
