Whites supremo unhappy with ex-midfielder's gesture

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates is considering reporting midfielder Neil Kilkenny over his goal celebrations at Elland Road on Saturday. The Australia international celebrated his equaliser for Bristol City over the weekend by blowing kisses towards Bates and director Shaun Harvey. Kilkenny was unhappy that the duo failed to greet him on his first return to Leeds since leaving over the summer when his deal expired. However, the ex-Oldham's man gesture has failed to go down well and Bates is threatening to take action as they have footage of the incident.

Petulant

"He can't justify or excuse his behaviour. It shows exactly why we weren't sad to see him go," Bates told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "Neither myself or Shaun ever go down to see players on match days. Why would we? "The fact is he asked for a wage which we didn't think he was worth. He's a petulant *** with big ideas of himself. "We might report his behaviour to the FA because we've got CCTV footage of it."
