Leyton Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones has signed a new three-year contract at Brisbane Road.

The 22-year-old, who has established himself as the Os' number one after joining from Everton in 2008, would have been out of contract at the end of the month but has committed himself to the club until 2014. "I'm delighted to agree my new contract," he told Orient's official website. "It's nice to be offered such a long-term deal and it shows what the people at Leyton Orient think of me. "There were options elsewhere for me, but I decided between me and my family that the new contract here was what I wanted and I'm really happy to have committed by future to the club. "I have had three great years here so far, playing over 100 games, and I don't think there are too many goalkeepers who have that kind of experience."
