Hamilton have completed the signing of defender David Buchanan following his departure from Bury.
The 24-year-old left-back has signed a one-year deal with the Scottish Premier League club after his contract with the Gigg Lane side expired.
Former Northern Ireland Under-21 international Buchanan left the Shakers earlier this month after the club signed a replacement when he failed to respond to their contract offer in time.
Buchanan, who made 215 appearances for the League Two club, joined Rochdale on trial but then moved to Accies, where he impressed manager Billy Reid in training and pre-season friendlies.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Accies are delighted to announce that they have signed full-back David Buchanan until the end of the season."
