Swansea have agreed a deal to sign Wrexham defender Neil Taylor, while Lee Trundle has left the club.
Taylor arrives at the Liberty Stadium on a free transfer with Wrexham due a compensation fee for his services.
The 21-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, subject to a medical, and Taylor is relishing the prospect of playing for Paulo Sousa's side.
"I'm delighted," Taylor told the club's
official website. "I think I've been linked with the move since Christmas, which is a long time.
"I've tried to concentrate on my football with Wrexham, but Swansea has obviously been on my mind, especially when I've linked up with the Swansea lads on Wales duty.
"It's exciting to be part of it and I'm looking forward to learning off a manager like Paulo Sousa, who has done it all as a player."
Sad news
Meanwhile, cult hero Trundle has left Swansea after he was not offered a new contract by the club.
Sousa has decided Trundle does not figure in his plans for the new Championship season and will let him move on.
Trundle discussed a potential coaching role with chairman Huw Jenkins but he is keen to play on for the next few seasons and has subsequently left the Liberty Stadium.
"Everyone is sad to see Lee leave the club," said Jenkins. "He's been a great player and ambassador for this football club.
"He'll always be welcome here because I know what the club means to him and how much the fans adore him."
