Scott Wiseman has signed a new two-year contract at Rochdale following the club's promotion to League One.
The defender was a virtual ever-present in Keith Hill's side last term as the club secured their first promotion since 1969 by finishing third in League Two.
Wiseman, who joined Dale in 2008 from Darlington, is now looking forward to playing at a higher level after resolving his future
"I'm very pleased to have signed and it would have been sooner but I've been on holiday," said Wiseman.
"It will be a big challenge for us and it is one I personally am looking forward to very much. There will be many new grounds for us to visit."
