Northampton have extended Karl Hawley's loan spell from Preston for a further month.
Hawley has impressed at Sixfields since his arrival and scored twice in six appearances.
Cobblers boss Stuart Gray was keen to keep the former Carlisle hit-man and he will now remain at Northampton until mid-November.
"I'm delighted that Karl is staying with us," Gray told Town's official website. "He's done well for us and we're pleased to have him here."
