Paul Simpson has revealed he has no problems with Carlo Nash after the goalkeeper returned to Preston.
Nash fell out of favour at Deepdale after he asked for a transfer in January and was even critical of some of his Preston team-mates
The 33-year-old was sent out on loan to Wigan - but he failed to make a single appearance for The Latics before returning.
North End boss Simpson insisted that Nash would need to make a public apology to the club's fans - but now he has revealed that the former Manchester City and Middlesbrough man could soon be involved again.
"I have said all along I don't hold grudges, despite what people say," Simpson revealed.
"I keep getting letters saying I have had disagreements with players, which is absolute garbage.
"I don't hold grudges with anyone. I pick what I believe is the best side.
"If Carlo Nash shows the attitude that I believe is the right one to get into the team then we will see how we go.
"When you have a goalkeeper of his ability I don't think you can have any qualms about playing him."
