DAVID MOYES has reportedly been involved in a brawl with two players from his squad, during Preston North End's pre-season tour of Austria.

The English tabloids suggest that the young manager, widely tipped to become one of the biggest names in the game, became embroiled in a 'bar-room brawl' with midfielder Paul McKenna and goalkeeper Tepi Moilanen.

Moyes was a strong candidate for several Premiership job vacancies this summer but chose to remain with the PNE side that surprised everybody by reaching the Division One play-off final last season.

Renowned as a tough manager who does not accept anything less that 100 percent effort from his charges, Moyes had watched his side lose to German minnows Wacker Berghausen and Kocaelispor from Turkey.

Both manager and club have refused to comment on the matter.
