Derby will kick off their 2013/14 Championship season by hosting Blackburn at Pride Park on 3 August.
County, who finished 10th last season and will be hoping for a promotion push after bringing in striker Jonny Russell from Scotland, will then visit Brighton and newly-promoted Yeovil and host Leicester and Burnley in a difficult opening month.
Millwall, Bolton and Reading follow as September gets no easier for Nigel Clough's men. The month concludes with a crunch derby clash at The City Ground as Nottingham Forest play host on 28 September.
The awaited Boxing Day fixture for Derby will be Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium, while a trip to Barnsley follows before Wigan visit Pride Park to kick off 2014.
A visit to Leicester will follow on 11 January during a busy month for Derby.
The last three games provide a huge test for the side, as they play host to Barnsley and Watford to conclude April before heading to Leeds on 3 May with hopes of securing a Premier League return.
