Coventry City new boy James Bailey is relishing his loan switch from Derby County and is keen to make an impression.

Bailey could be in line for a dream debut against Arsenal in the Capital One Cup at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night and the former Crewe youngster is excited at the prospect of coming up against the Premier League side. "It would be brilliant if I could make my debut for Coventry against Arsenal and I will be ready if the manager needs me," added Bailey. "Every player wants to test themselves against the best players and Arsenal have started the season very well so it will be big test for us whatever side they put out, but we will go there aiming to pull off a shock." Bailey started his career with Crewe and made his debut as a 19-year-old before being snapped up by Derby in May 2010 along with John Brayford in a seven-figure double deal. The 24-year old has chalked up 62 appearances in two seasons for the Rams, winning their young player-of-the-season award in 2010/11.
