Derby defender Miles Addison is poised to join Bournemouth on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has found first-team appearances hard to come by at Pride Park this season due to the form of central defenders Shaun Barker and Jason Shackell.

Addison completed a loan spell at Barnsley at the end of January which saw him make 13 appearances for the Tykes.

He signed a contract extension with Derby in June commiting himself to the club until 2013.
