Derby have agreed a fee with Kilmarnock for midfielder Craig Bryson.
The Rams have been chasing Bryson all summer and they have now agreed a deal in the region of £400,000 for the 24-year-old.
Bryson is set for talks and a medical at Pride Park next week after Kilmarnock reluctantly agreed to let him move on.
Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston admitted they could not stand in his way after receiving a suitable offer from Derby.
"We were reluctant to sell Craig but he wanted to go," said Johnston.
"He feels it will benefit his career. He's been a very good servant to Kilmarnock so when Derby County reached our asking price we felt it was only fair to let him go."
