Leeds say Jermaine Beckford is 'not for sale' after the striker was linked with Derby.
Leeds United say Jermaine Beckford is 'not for sale' after the striker was linked with Derby County.
Reports had claimed the Premier League strugglers were lining up a £3million January bid for the 24-year-old.
Beckford has scored 15 goals in League One this season after spending time out on loan at Carlisle United and Scunthorpe United last term.
He signed a new contract at Elland Road in October and Leeds are determined to hang on to the forward.
A club spokesman said: "Jermaine Beckford is not for sale.
"Jermaine is a key part of the club's progress on the pitch under Dennis Wise and there is no reason why he can't reach his ambitions of playing at the highest level with Leeds United.
"It's an exciting time for the club and Jermaine is very much part of the future here."
