Rangers boss Walter Smith refused to be drawn on rumours linking Kenny Miller with a return to Ibrox.
Reports have suggested Miller could make a surprise move back to Rangers when the transfer window reopens next month.
Miller is currently at Derby after leaving Celtic in August.
Speaking after Rangers' 2-1 win over Hearts, Smith was remaining coy on the speculation.
"I think there are more rumours than that," said Smith. "If you believe the papers this morning, we won't have anyone left at the end of the transfer window so we better bring somebody in!
"I'm not going to comment on who will be coming or going. I said the other day that there would not be that many players leaving, maybe one or two either way.
That's where we are coming from."
