Canadian striker Paul Peschisolido is eager to win a new deal at Derby County.
The veteran, who is in the final year of his contract, is currently on the sidelines with a thigh injury but he is still eager to extend his stay at Pride Park.
"My contract is up at the end of the season and if I am offered another contract, I would be ecstatic," stated Peschisolido.
"I would love to continue to be a part of things at Derby, I have loved my time here."
The striker had been in fine form prior to his injury, having netted three goals, and he will look to make an impression on Billy Davies upon his return to fitness.
