Derby County are set to exercise Grzegorz Rasiak's option in his contract that will keep him at the club for an additional 12 months.

Rasiak is out of contract in the summer, although The Rams have the chance to retain his services for next season.

Manager George Burley is delighted with the Poland international striker's form this term and the club are keen to keep Rasiak at Pride Park.

"Burley is keen to keep hold of Greg and the board of directors are determined to help him retain key players," said director of football Murdo Mackay to the club's official website.

"We want to improve and develop the squad and that means keeping hold of the likes of Ini and Greg, who have both played important parts in our success this season.

"Greg has adapted to the English game well and has settled in Derby. We're delighted he's remaining with us."

Meanwhile, the club have revealed they have opened discussions with Lee Camp and are confident of extending the keeper's contract.

"We're also in discussions with Lee Camp and hope to reach a positive conclusion in the near future," he added.
