McLeod's original deal was due to expire in the summer, but now he is ready to pen a new contract.
The player's agent Gino Culbertson confirmed to planetfootball.com that his client is ready to sign the new deal.
"We have got a contract and they have offered him a two-year contract.
"There are are a few minor points to resolve, but we should put pen-to-paper next week."
