TODD: BALL IN KINKY'S COURT

DERBY COUNTY manager Colin Todd has admitted his side needs Georgi Kinkladze to find his best form to help them climb away from the relegation zone.

Todd declared that Kinkladze only had himself to blame for being out of the side but, with a limited budget at his disposal, knows he must make the most of the talents at his disposal to save Derby from relegation.

"I have to get him to give us something," Todd said. "Georgi had every opportunity at this club, prior to me coming.

"He's had a kick up the backside and we'll see what emerges."

The Rams are currently second-bottom of The Premiership, three points behind fourth-bottom Southampton, having played a game more.

Ironically, Kinkladze's most consistent spell in England came in his first season at Manchester City when despite his superb form they were relegated from the top-flight.
