Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has agreed a new four-year deal which keeps him at the club until 2018.
Pickford joined the Black Cats as an eight-year old in 2002 then signed a two-year scholarship in 2010.
He went on to become one of the stars of the club's U21 side and has spent time on loan at Darlington, Alfreton Town, Burton Albion and Carlisle United.
Pickford said: "Last season was massive for me. I played games at Burton and at Carlisle, which was a great experience.
"I want to keep developing and working hard and I'm delighted to sign a contract with the club I have always supported."
