Sunderland striker set to sign
Rosenborg have finalised a deal with Sunderland for Rade Prica.
The 28-year-old is set to end his nightmare 14-month spell on Wearside which has seen him play just six games for the Black Cats.
Sunderland paid £2million to sign him from Aalborg, but he has not featured under Roy Keane or Ricky Sbragia this season.
Now Rosenborg are set to complete his capture after beating a number of Scandinavian rivals to his signature.
"I've come here to score goals," he told the club's official website.
"Rosenborg is a really attractive club, and I am counting on that there will be no problems with the medical check that I have to go through."
Happy
Rosenborg boss Erik Hamren - who worked with Prica at Alborg - is delighted to be getting him.
"I am happy that he has landed in Trondheim," Hamren told Adressa.
"We have been looking for a striker since I came to the club.
"Rade has many good qualities and I hope that he will play well together with Steffen Iversen up front."
