Sunderland manager Ricky Sbragia is expecting Swedish flop Rade Prica to depart the North East club in the coming days.
The striker cost the Black Cats £2million from Aalborg in January 2008, but has made just six Premier League appearances - all from the substitutes' bench.
Sbragia has confirmed one bid from Scandinavia, which falls below the club's valuation of the player, has been tabled for the 28-year-old former Hansa Rostock man.
With Prica well down Sbragia's pecking order the Scot remains confident a deal will be finalised by early next week at the latest.

"There have been two or three enquiries, but because it's their pre-season they've not pushed it on," he said.
"We've had an offer, but we feel we can get more for him. We would hope in the next three or four days something might happen and it will be solved."
Meanwhile, Sbragia has confirmed his squad will be taking a mini-break to the sunny climes of Spain for some warm weather training.
The Black Cats tactician feels escaping the 'boring' routine of turning up at the club's training ground will galvanise his squad.
Seville trip
"We're going to go away to Seville for a few days and do a bit of training there, and hopefully get on track," he continued.
"We need to get away from the training ground. I think it's a bit boring coming to the same place all the time.
"You keep coming in and the weather is not great, sometimes you can't train because the conditions are poor.
"It was like that a couple of weeks ago when the snow was on the ground, so we thought we'd go away and give them a little break.
"We'll do a little bit of team bonding, which I feel is important."
