Modibo Diakite will not leave Lazio in the foreseeable future, according to the defender's agent.
It has been reported that Arsenal are interested in the 21-year-old centre-back, although the Gunners have yet to comment on the rumours.
However, Diakite's agent, Pino Letterio, is adamant the Frenchman will remain at Stadio Olimpico.
"He is not moving away from Rome," Letterio told Italian radio station Teleradioestero.
"Lazio is like his family and he has no intention to leave the (Italian) capital.
"There is no possibility that Modibo will leave Lazio also because he has just signed a five-year contract extension.
"Lazio does not want to see a player they have helped develop leave."
