Forgotten Swede ready to leave Black Cats

Out-of-favour striker Rade Prica is looking to move on in January after failing to make the grade at Sunderland. The Swede has failed to make an impact in the North East since joining The Black Cats from Danish champions Aalborg in January 2007. Instead he has become somewhat of a forgotten man in Roy Keane's squad after failing to be involved with the first team this season. Despite the torrid time he has endured Prica is still adamant he has no regrets. "There were clubs interested in the summer but time ran out and nothing was agreed. It would be great if things would change for me here, but if not then I hope in January to get something new," he told Sunderland Echo. "I would have won the Danish championship with Aalborg last season and be playing in Champions League football now if I had stayed there. "That would have been great, but every professional wants a chance to play in the best league in Europe, so I don't regret coming to Sunderland. "Of course, I wish I could have had more time on the pitch, but this is the best league so it is the toughest league to make your mark." The 28-year-old has made just six substitute appearances in his time at Sunderland.
