Swedish striker makes £2million move to Sunderland

Sunderland have completed the signing of Rade Prica from Danish club Aalborg AB for £2million. The Sweden international striker has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Black Cats as manager Roy Keane bids to add firepower to his squad. Prica was top scorer in the Danish Super League last season and Keane is hopeful the Swede will transfer that form to help Sunderland avoid Premier League relegation. The 27-year-old becomes Keane's fourth signing of the transfer window following moves for Phil Bardsley, Jonny Evans and Jean-Yves M'voto.

Experience

And the Stadium of Light boss is delighted to have captured Prica, who featured for Aalborg when they played Tottenham in the Uefa Cup in November. "Rada is an experienced striker with a good goalscoring record," Keane told Sunderland's official website. "He is hungry to play in the Premier League and will give us attacking options." Prica has made 13 appearances for Sweden in which he has scored two goals.
