Sunderland boss Roy Keane says he wants to see the video of Paul McShane's challenge on Alexander Hleb before deciding if it warrants disciplinary action.
McShane was sent-off for clattering into the Arsenal winger with his knee in the last minute of their 3-2 Premier League defeat at Emirates Stadium.
The Black Cats boss felt referee Rob Styles had reacted quickly in showing the defender a straight red but stressed he would punish McShane if he felt the challenge was dangerous.
"I'd love to say that I didn't have a clear view but I was about five yards away - I think the referee was quick to get out the red card," Keane told the club's official website.
"If we feel Paul has been out of order, we'll discipline him. We'll judge it when we see it on video again.
"The biggest punishment for Paul is that he will be missing for three games and we're certainly not in a position to be without players like that."
