Sunderland defender Neill Collins is set to join Wolverhampton Wanderers on a permanent deal.
Collins arrived at Molineux on loan in November but only forced his way into the side recently following the injury to Jody Craddock.
The 23-year-old is poised to complete his permanent switch in the near future, to the delight of Wolves manager Mick McCarthy.
"What I like about Neill is the way he's got on with things here," McCarthy told the club's official website.
"With the good form of Jody and Gary (Breen) he's had to wait for his chance, but when he got it he took it well.
"He was getting frustrated not playing but I told him I still wanted to sign him.
"He's a good player and has great maturity for a young man."
