Julio Arca's agent has admitted the player looks set to leave Sunderland at the end of the season.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the Argentine as speculation grows over the futures of a number of players with relegation looking inevitable.
Sunderland look set to lose a number of players as a result of their relegation and Arca's representative Stefan Schwarz admits the versatile performer will be considering his future in the summer.
"I think there will be a few options for Julio Arca this summer - there has been lots of speculation about his future and, yes, there are a lot of clubs interested," Schwarz told the Sunday Sun.
"I cannot name any for obvious reasons, but clubs both in England's Premiership and elsewhere in Europe have been looking at him for some time now.
"In the very near future we will have to sit down together and look at the offers we have on the table before deciding what his next move will be.
"We will have to listen carefully to what everybody has to say.
"But perhaps now the time has come where another season in The Championship might not be the best thing for his future."
