Gary Breen's Sunderland future is reportedly in doubt after failing to regain the club captaincy.

Caretaker boss Kevin Ball handed the job to Steve Caldwell in Breen's absence and was happy with his performance.
Breen is reportedly unhappy at Ball's snub and could leave the North East club in the summer when his deal expires.
"Steve and Danny [Collins] were both excellent in the last game against Wigan," said Ball.
"Gary is available, but barring injuries I'll keep it the same and Steve stays as captain."
