Leeds chairman Ken Bates has confirmed they have rejected two bids from Sunderland for Frazer Richardson.
The newly-promoted Black Cats are keen to sign Richardson as they prepare for life back in The Premiership.
Sunderland saw their first bid, believed to be in the region of £250,000, rejected earlier this week and their improved offer on Thursday was again rejected out of hand by Leeds.
Bates has described the two offers for Richardson as "derisory" and insists they are not looking to sell the full back.
"We've dismissed two offers from Sunderland for Frazer Richardson. They were derisory," said Bates.
"We've not been actively looking to sell the player."
