Defender set to leave Bolton this summer
Sky Sports understands Cardiff City are weighing up a move for Bolton defender Paul Robinson.
Robinson is out of contract at Bolton this summer and he is unlikely to sign a new deal at the Reebok Stadium.
The 33-year-old has found first-team chances hard to come by at Bolton this season and enjoyed a spell on loan at Leeds.
With the experienced full-back set to be available on a free transfer this summer a number of clubs are waiting in the wings to sign Robinson.
Cardiff boss Malky Mackay has admitted he plans to add to his squad following their play-off disappointment to West Ham and Robinson could be on his list of targets.
The former Watford and West Brom boasts a wealth of experience, having made over 500 appearances in his career and Mackay is thought to be keen on adding some wise old heads to his squad for next season as they look to go one better than this term.
