On-loan Northampton striker Akwasi Asante has returned to Birmingham after joining the Cobblers on a one-month deal early in January.

The 19-year-old made four appearances during his time with the League Two club and scored in a 2-1 win at Morecambe.

Meanwhile, Northampton's league fixture at Crawley will have to be rescheduled. Aidy Boothroyd's side were due to travel to the Broadfield Stadium on February 18 but the West Sussex club will now be in FA Cup action against Stoke that weekend.
