Keeper inks deal until 2015

Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland has signed a new deal to keep him at St Andrew's until the summer of 2015. The shot-stopper, currently on loan at Cheltenham, has reportedly caught the eye of several Premier League clubs after making his England Under-21 debut despite being just 18. Butland is highly-regarded at Birmingham and Blues boss Chris Hughton was delighted to secure his services on a new long-term contract.

Talented

"Jack is a very talented young keeper," Hughton told the club's official website. "He has undoubted ability and we are very happy to have got his services for an extended period of time. "At the moment he can only benefit from the experience of playing first-team games."
