Birmingham City have swooped to complete the signing of Sunderland's Teemu Tainio.
Skysports.com revealed that The Blues had made a move for the Finnish international, and now a deal has been struck.
Birmingham moved for the 29-year-old with just hours of the deadline left, but they have successfully managed to strike a deal.
Tainio will move on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent move.
Tainio leaves Sunderland having joined the club just over 12 months ago from Tottenham.
