Nottm Forest have agreed a deal for Guy Moussi with SCO Angers, subject to international clearance.

Midfielder set to become Calderwood's third summer signing

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Guy Moussi from SCO Angers, subject to international clearance. The Frenchman arrives for an undisclosed fee and has agreed a three-year deal at the City Ground. The 23-year-old was in Nottingham on Tuesday to complete the formalities of the move, having already discussed terms and undergone a medical with the Championship club. He was brought to the Reds' attention by their former player David Friio, who is also Forest's French scout and Moussi's agent. Friio watched the midfielder in action on numerous occasions throughout the 2007/08 season and advised Colin Calderwood and Keith Burt as to the player's potential. The Reds boss and his chief scout travelled to France to run the rule over Moussi for themselves during the closing stages of last season and were suitably impressed by what they saw. The deal represents an impressive coup for the newly promoted club as a number of Ligue 1 sides were believed to be tracking the situation.
