Birmingham City have handed a trial to Ivory Coast striker Gnagbo Dogba.
The U17 international arrives at St Andrews with a growing reputation having been likened to compatriot Didier Drogba back in his homeland.
Dogba has previously been on trial at Portsmouth and while he is thought to have impressed, he has now pitched up in the Midlands.
Last season saw the 17-year-old make 20 appearances for Ivorian Premier League winners Africa National Sport but he is available on a free transfer.
Blues boss Alex McLeish admits he is keeping a close eye on the starlet in training, as he weighs up whether to offer Dogba a permanent stay in England.
"He has trained with the youths, he is quick and strong. We will continue to look at him and see what develops."
Birmingham are also thought to hold an interest in FC Brussels midfielder Zola Matumona, but visa problems have delayed his arrival at Wast Hills.
