Stephen Clemence has revealed he considered leaving Birmingham earlier this year.
The former Tottenham man was frustrated earlier in the season because of his lack of first-team chances.
However, Clemence has recently won his place back in the side and he is determined to stay in Steve Bruce's plans.
"I haven't been happy a lot of the time," said Clemence. "The manager knows that. I have had a few discussions with him about it.
"There have been occasions where I have thought about moving on.
"But I do believe I am good enough to play in this team, I feel happy with my form and I just want to stay in the side now.
"When we got relegated, having not really played much last season, I really saw it as a challenge to make sure we got back up and contribute a massive part.
"The only place you can do that is on the pitch and thankfully I've got that opportunity again."
