Injury boost for Dunn

Birmingham's David Dunn is set to be sidelined for three weeks.

Birmingham have been boosted by the news that David Dunn's hamstring injury is not as serious as first feared.

Dunn limped off with a hamstring problem during Birmingham's win at Derby last weekend.

The former Blackburn star has been plagued with hamstring problems for some time and he missed a large chunk of last season with a hamstring injury.

Blues boss Steve Bruce feared Dunn could be sidelined for a lengthy period with the new injury, but scans have shown the problem is not too serious.

"Dunny had a scan on Monday, and we expect him to be out for 14 to 21 days," Bruce told the club's official website.
