Jermaine Pennant has vowed to help Birmingham regain their Premiership status next season.
Blues slipped out of The Premiership in disappointing circumstances, as Steve Bruce struggled to overcome a catalogue of injuries at St Andrews.
Pennant was one of the few bright sparks for Birmingham this term and he has no plans to ask for a move away from the Second City.
"They gave me my chance, I tried to repay that on the pitch and I will look to repay it by staying," he told Sky Sports News. "I have a contract at Birmingham so I will not be asking to leave.
"I will not be asking to jump ship, so if anything happens it will be out of my hands.
"You can't beat The Premiership, everyone wants to play there, so all I can do is go down and play my football and hopefully help the team get back in it."
